We are Jim & Fiona professional DJ & Presenter. In our experience a party is made by the people who book us and it is always better when you can communicate with the DJ. We don't forget that it is your party, so send us over your playlist, tell us the genre's you prefer or just relax and let us do our thing.
We have all the professional equipment to get the party moving. Some DJ's will bring along a pre made playlist that they made at home, which is why often you can't make request from them, if you sent us a playlist we may add a couple of tracks here and there but in the main we will play your list.
We have been known to sing a song or two at past events though we both tend to favour the Eagles , though we like to do Mustang sally, I on the other hand can't resist a bit of Elvis, Elton, Michael buble, Will young, george Michael..... the list does go on a bit. Neverthless, Fiona is more inclined to do these boots, Rotterdam or the like.
Sometimes it is like striking a balance somewhere between two completely oposing genre's like rock and motown or Punk & dance. Thats where we can flourish by ensuring that your elderly guest don't run out of the door, wiping the blood from their ears and the young one aren't bored to death with Lonnie Donnigan till they go home, (no offense Lonnie).
